Synchronous Request is deprecated since 2014, but in my own opinion I think it will never be removed! (In fact, it may be un-deprecated instead in the future!)
It seems that synchronous XMLHttpRequest usage increased a lot only in chrome browser since 2017(0,8%) to 2019(5.21%)!

It's highly probable that Synchronous Request will be un-deprecated in the future!
